GAB BOIS believes that one of the greatest challenges of her generation is creating a lasting effect. Although her work was initially propelled by Instagram, this young photographer is aware of the near impossibility to translate a feeling through an image on social media. GAB BOIS loves to make people uncomfortable with her work and to confront the traditional standards of photography. For two years now, she has been using her own body as the main canvas to create images that are compelling her ever-growing audience. With simple accessories, in the comfort of her Montreal apartment, she is able to visually render striking concepts with close-up details and haunting compositions.
