Le Village presents TOILETPAPER, in collaboration with the Chromatic Festival as part of Aires Libres 2019. Curated by Nicolas Denicourt. Half artist book, half magazine, Toilet Paper is a mythical medium for contemporary creation. Founded by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari, they borrow from fashion, advertising, cinema, combining commercial photography, twisted visual narratives and surrealist imagery to create a series of striking paintings. In collaboration with Chromatic, the Galerie Blanc - 10 minutes walk from Usine C - will host this open-air exhibition from May 11, for one year. In this context, the two founders will travel to Montreal, and Pierpaolo Ferrari will give a talk on Saturday, May 11 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Usine C, presented by Infopresse and the Italian Cultural Institute of Montreal.
