about

Presented by Art Contemporary Club
Lives and works in Montreal, CA. Born on Vancouver Island in 1994, Colin Meredith’s practice involves a fusion of visual art with fashion design. At the age of fifteen he began sewing, stitching whatever fabric pieces came to hand: curtains, painting drop sheets, or other spare materials. In 2012, he moved to Montreal to study fashion design at College Lasalle, soon abandoning his formal studies to engage in a four-year experimentation process combining clothing production, art and design. In 2016, Colin Meredith graduated in Visual Arts from Dawson College, and is currently developing his own brand, Hobby Wares.
