Joshua Advincula is a self-taught artist. Based in Toronto, he stretches his many talents across many mediums including (but not exclusive to) painting, screen printing, drawing, and sewing. Through experimenting with form and figure, rooted in past experiences and personal nostalgia, he considers shapes, negative space, and how our thoughts negotiate with what we believe is missing.
